Facility rental rates, staffing costs, and deposit terms for hosting a private event in the Blue Room at the American Jazz Museum.
Rental rates
The Blue Room is available for private events on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings. Rentals are booked as 4-hour blocks, and rates depend on the nature of your organization and event.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% confirms your date — the balance is due ten business days before load-in.

Hourly staff rates include all payroll taxes and fees.
Good to know
- Food is not allowed in the Blue Room — drinks are welcome! Beverage service is booked through our Event Manager.
- We are happy to arrange live music by local jazz artists — musicians are a $250 flat rate per person.
- Clients provide event liability insurance — the booking sheet has the full insurance, deposit, and cancellation policies.
