Bird turns 106 on Saturday, August 29 — and the museum celebrates free, 10 am–3:30 pm: a Saxophone Salute at the Bird Lives statue, Bird biographer Chuck Haddix, guest artist Willie Cole, trivia, and an all-ages instrument petting zoo.
