Gem Theater Rental FAQ

 

What is the seating capacity? 

  • 500 (550 with temporary seating)

Rental rate? 

  • $2,000 (for profit)
  • $1,600 (non-profit)

Is there a security deposit? 

  • Yes, $1,000. Balance is due four weeks pior to the event.

What does the rental rate include? 

  • In-house concert quality sound system and theatrical lighting, maintenance, and unarmed security

Will we be able to have a dress rehearsal? 

  • Yes. Can be either the day-of or another date, pending availability

What is the dress rehearsal rental rate? 

  • $200 plus personnel costs for (1) three hour rehearsal (four hours including load-in and load-out). Monday - Wednesday availability

Can we manage our own ticketing? 

  • Yes

Are bar services available? 

  • Yes, The Blue Room is available to provide bar service in the Gem Theater

Can we contract external bar service?

  • No, The Blue Room is the only liquor license allowed in the complex

Is there a piano available for rent? 

  • Yes, at a rate of $200

Are there insurance requirements? 

  • ACORD Certificate of Liability Insurance ($1M/Occurance) is needed. Event insurance can be found here.
