Records Digitization Workshop

This workshop is for professionals in the archival, museum, and history fields. Presented in partnership with the Missouri State Archives and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the Records Digitization Workshop gives a brief introduction on the purpose of archives and basic archival principles.

  • Duration: 3–4 hrs.
  • Maximum Attendance: 30
  • Topics Covered: Digitization project selection and planning; metadata creation and management; document and photograph scanning standards; file types and migration strategies

Lunch will be provided for a cost and is optional. Following the conference, there will be a free tour of the American Jazz Museum. This is also optional.
