Complement your lunchtime groove with The Br. John Duo! Made up of tribute vocalist Br. John and guitarist Rick "Pretty Ricky," Cole, their repertoire includes classic hits, R&B, soul, Motown, easy listening, traditional jazz, and smooth jazz.

This is a reoccuring event every second Friday of the month, so if you're not able to tune in this month, be on the lookout for next month's event!

Brother John

Brother John is a 4-time winner of the "BEST OF FRINGE VENUE AWARD" for his portrayal of music icons Bob Marley, Sam Cooke, Cab Calloway, Marvin Gaye, and Smokey Robinson in the Kansas City Fringe Festival. With over 25 years as a motivational storyteller, Br. John is also a member of the music educational group the Jazz Storytellers, part of the American Jazz Mueum's monthly program, Jazz Storytelling.

Guitarist Rick Cole

Guitarist Rick Cole has dazzled the music industry for over 20 years with his versatile, guitar skills. He is also a founding member of the regional-based reggae band Jah Lion and the award-winning Alex Abramavitz & His Swinging Kansas City Jazz Band.
