Everette DeVan with Lori Tucker

Everette DeVan and his Hammond B-3 organ have been a mainstay in the Kansas City jazz scene for many years…and there is a reason for that. His soulful and sinful riffs, combined with rich chords and sensuous bass lines, have entranced audiences from Tokyo to Italy to Africa and points in between. He has been a featured Jazz Organist, well known locally, nationally, and internationally for his long-standing contributions to the Jazz tradition.

Lori Tucker is a versatile vocalist and an entrepreneur. Lori’s expressive vocals have enabled her to hold long term engagements in many of Kansas City’s finest venues. In addition to rhythm and blues, jazz and blues she’s widely recognized in the gospel arena. On numerous occasions, she was a featured guest with the world famous Twentieth Century Ink Spots and has performed with Everette DeVan and the late Richard “Groove” Holmes. She has also performed the National Anthem for many civic and sports events, including the Los Angeles Lakers and the Kansas City Royals. Lori is also co-owner of Grace Audio/Video Enterprises, LLC and a member of the award-winning vocal group, The Wild Women of Kansas City. Each Friday evening for the last four years, her band, The Lori Tucker Ensemble, has been a source of enjoyment for guests of The Intercontinental Hotel on The Plaza. Since the early 70’s, the public has enjoyed her melodic tones on recordings, radio, and television.
