Darryl White Quartet
Dr. Darryl White has played trumpet since the age of 9. Since he released three of his own solo recordings, played on several national recordings, and served on the International Association for Jazz Education and the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts.
He is a frequent guest soloist. Some performances include the Omaha Symphony, Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, Mesa Chamber Orchestra, Grand Junction Symphony, Lake Forest Chamber Orchestra, Roaring Fork Jazz Festival, University of Nebraska Faculty Brass Quintet, and the University Faculty Jazz Quartet.
Today Dr. White is the associate professor of trumpet at the Glenn Korff School of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
