American Jazz Museum Presents: A Jazzy Holiday Story (Free Livestream)

Due to Kansas City's recently revised COVID-19 procedures, this event will now be a free, livestreamed concert on the American Jazz Museum's Facebook page.

The American Jazz Museum is proud to present A Jazzy Holiday Story, a music variety show broadcast live from the Gem Theater in the 18th & Vine District. Follow the American Jazz Museum on Facebook and mark your calendars for Sunday, November 22nd at 4:00 pm.

Angel Gibson

Angel Bison, also known as “Just Angel,” is a creative singer with an earthy vocalist whose voice finds its home in jazz, soul, rock, and alternative music. Angel has been a member of My Brother’s & Sisters for the last 9 years, as well as a member Worship Culture headed by 2018 Grammy nominee Bishop Cortez Vaughn. Angel has performed at SXSW, Carnegie Hall, Starlight Theater, Middle of the Map, Dancetopia, The Crossroads Music Festival, Boulevardia, and The Plaza Arts Fair Ink Stage, and countless other stages.Outside music, Angel can be found focusing on her daughter McKenzie and dancing to other Kansas City artists.

Delynia Jannell

Delynia Brown is a native of Kansas City, Kansas. As a vocalist, recording artist and songwriter Delynia has been blessed to share her musical talents throughout Kansas City, the United States, and the world. Her performance opportunities include sharing the stage with Shania Twain, the Washburn University Choir, Krizz Kaliko, TechN9ne, Stevie Stone, E-40, Kyla Jade, and the Philip Collins Experience 2019 Tour.

Eric Lyn

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Eric Lyn started performing in Kansas City, Kansas. Eric attended Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee and received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree with an emphasis in vocal performance. He’s sang background for Michael McDonald, Winona Judd, John Carter Cash, and performed in Carnegie Hall and The White House. His latest accolades include being a featured singer on Season 13 of “The Voice” and touring as a singer/performer of Kanye West’s Sunday Service Collective.

Kimberly Keyz

Arkansas native Kimberly Keyz resides in Kansas City, MO. Surrounded by music since age 5, Kimberly has sang background for artists Michael McDonald, Michael Bubble, and opened up for RnB singer Lyfe Jennings. Recently she started her own path of songwriting and is slated to release her first single, "FIYA (Fabulous In Your Absence). Be on the lookout for this southern soul to show you how it’s done!

Marlin Hatcher

Kansas City native, Marlin Cortez is a singer’s singer. Marlin began singing at the age of 3 years old. While it’s no surprise he developed a passion for music, he’s also a vocal daredevil, taking you on an emotional journey filled with melodic gusto.
