10th Anniversary Screening of The 100 Best Black Movies Ever

Written and produced by Fox 4 News film critic Shawn Edwards, the documentary features commentary about the history of Black film by Danny Glover, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah, Common, Thandie Newton and many other Black stars. The 100 Best Black Movies (Ever) premiered at the Gem Theater to a sold out house in 2007 and has screened in Los Angeles, New York, and London. In honor of the film's 10th anniversary, the American Jazz Museum in conjunction with Hotel Girl Movie Boy Productions is hosting a free community screening.

Shawn Edwards will unveil an updated version of the 100 Best Black Movies List and moderate a Q&A after the screening about the state of Black film today.
