Graphic Design Intern

February 2019 – May 2019

6-10  hours a week totaling 135 hours for the semester (can be flexible based on home institution's requirements)


  • Execute marketing, programming, and general museum collateral using Adobe Design Suite including:
    • Museum brochures (some content development required)
    • Update monthly magazine ads (JAM and KC Studios) (content will be provided)
    • General concept design for major events
  • Assisting in the writing and editing of informational materials for articles, letters, and collateral
  • Attend planning meetings ­for marketing department
  • Intern will be expected to dress professionally, unless otherwise noted
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Intern will gain experience and/or improve upon:
    • Graphic Design Skills
    • Marketing program support
    • Working in a team setting
    • Special projects


Note: Intern will be provided with all tools, technology, and licensing required to carry out duties listed above. There may be opportunities for intern to work offsite but the majority of work will be carried out in the museum.
